Usually, when you think of the outfits worn on cruise ships, they bring up unpleasant visions of fanny packs, overly tight velour jumpsuits, flip flops, sun visors, sunscreen on a rope as a necklace, the folding foil thingy that sears you and fatty fatty bo batties. However, Karl Lagerfeld is on a quest to change unfortunate Cruise ship fashions. Above is a few photos from the Chanel Cruise 210 collection that took place in venice, Italy. I find the cape charming, only if you’re in Venice. Anywhere else, you could look like Frodo-ish. I love this collection, it has a vintage 1930’s vibe to it, which I adore. I want to go on the cruise ship that has people dressing like this. I think it’s called a yacht.
