Marchesa is one of my favorite designers. They focus on evening gowns and tend to be my favorite dresses whenever I watch an award show. Beautiful, yet modern- I cannot say this collection is innovative especially since I see bits of Givenchy. I do love it and think they are gorgeous, it’s just that the sheer, heavily-embroidered gowns have already been done recently. In any case, I can’t hate on Marchesa- after all, they are the ONLY American designers that would fit in comfortably at the  Paris Haute Couture shows and I respect that.

If your doll’s shoes have gone missing in the past few months, look no further, the doll foot fetish lurking in  jewelry designer Tom Binns must have swiped them to make this immaculate piece of jewelry! Seriously, that’s a lot of barefoot Barbies. Good thing Barbie can’t get pregnant… or CAN she? Anywho, Moss Online offers this for sale but the price is available upon request. Usually, they say ‘price available upon request’ when they know that you’re gonna shoot them a ‘b*tch please ‘ side-eye  after finding out the price. I say just go to your neighborhood playground and start gathering lost doll shoes, then string it all together and throw it around your neck. Voila! And if it kid cries for her doll’s shoe, tell her that Cinderella story, but stop before the part where she gets the shoe back…. yeah, that’s the ticket.

One thing I love besides bows are POLKA DOTS! Usually I was a little ho-hum about Marc Jacobs, especially since last season’s ugly hippie dresses. But this season he emerged from the patchouli haze and has partially redeemed himself with these cute polka dot berets, 1940’s silhouettes and of course, POLKA DOTS!! So cool, because I already have lots of polka dots in my closet including those exact polka dot stockings I got from Victoria’s Secret a while back. I stocked up on those babies and now is the time to whip them out! My favorite look has got to be the second photo- I love the contrast of the collar, gloves and hat- so 1940’s. Yay for Marc !!

Bunny High Heel Slippers

Check out these adorable heels from Streetzie’s High Heel Bunny Slippers ! It’s like wearing a stuffed bunny on your feet. It’s like wearing bunny slippers, but only high heel. It’s like having a furry friend cuddle your toes. You get the idea… They come in 4 colors of powder blue, black , white and of course, PINK! I had to order a pair to go with my hello kitty ensembles (because you can never have enough pinky cuteness). They are actually very comfy and the heels aren’t hoochie high, so that’s good. And no bunnies were harmed in making these, although somewhere a 3 year old girl is weeping about her beheaded stuffed bunnies. So, if you see a crazy lady in a hello kitty skirt, unicorn necklace, bows in in her hair and pink bunny high heel slippers chances are it’s me. Be sure to say hi.

Bows!!!

Fur Fur‘s Spring 2011 Collection was a plethora of BOWS!!!! You may already know that the world and time stops infinitely for me when I see a Bow on a head or dress because I just love them so! It’s like when Mr. Marmar hears the shake of the snackums bag. He freezes and then pitter patters towards the snack like he’s denying he’s been OWNED by a lousy snack bag. Then he gobbles everything up in 10 seconds.Cat snacks aside, Fur Fur has introduced an adorable collection of Snoopy (or Snooby!), BOWS and that hairdo from the 1960s that you can recreate on Yearbook Yourself. I love love love this collection! Check out Japan Streets for cool photos from the Japanese streets and local fashion shows.

British designer James Hock‘s latest collection is consists of only the colors red and black and a strong harlequin theme. Basically, it’s like the circus in an Asian restaurant. Lucky for James, I like the circus and I like Asian restaurants. The only thing I’m unsure of is the half shorts/half pants look. About 95% of the times that I wear pants, it means that I was too lazy to shave my legs. So those pants would just confuse me- to shave or not to shave?

Check out James’ older collection that belongs on Queen Latifah back in her U.N.I.T.Y days. I really like the boxy look, especially the ‘b*tch, get off my sidewalk’ shoulders. The last photo is something I’d wear to a cat show. Mr. Marmar could jump on my shoulder and use my hat as a scratching post. I love it all!

Gnome Mania!

So,  I have to show you my gnome outfit I wore recently to my interviews with Elton John, Emily Blunt and James McAvoy for Gnomeo & Juliet. The movie was adorable! As a huge fan of gnomes ( Exhibit A and Exhibit B), I had to go all out and spread to everyone my freakish love for gnomes. Don’t laugh, but everyone has a weakness- mine happens to be miniature bearded men in pointy hats with an affinity for gardening.

I am wearing a skirt by Made With Love By Hannah, shoes by Irregular Choice, shirt from the depths of my closet, and cardigan by Anthropologie. Lilly pad/ladybug hair clip from Patricia Field‘s circa when I still had a pager and Hair Rosettes by ‘Tressa the Hairdressa’ from PuppycatMeow.

By the way, I wish they made this in my size! By DollFace girls.
