So here are some cool and weird stuff that I’ve been meaning to post about separately but decided to throw all the strange and unusual into one post. I know, it’s like one huge bizarre post but trust me it’s better this way- get the crazziness out of the way!

-Anywho, I think the most peculiar one is the Oven Lounge- whoever made that has a bounty on his head from Betty Crocker. Sh*t’s gonna get real when she shows up with an electric mixer, rubber gloves and a a tub of lard at his front door. I don’t even know where I’m going with that one so let’s get on the next one.

-Rubber Duckies are cool especially ones with tea leaves up their whoo-has. Ha ha.

-The Inner Beauty shirt is definitely a cannibal’s dream menu. Just add Chianti and fava beans. Yeah, so I necessarily wouldn’t wear that.

-Plug and Socket ring is a nice alternative to those cheezey broken heart necklaces. Except it seems the plug has the upper hand in most violent situations.I’ll take the plug.

-Check out the cool street art on Mercer St. in NYC – although it’s probably hidden under the snow and ice right now.

-Ride the skeleton bike… perfect for causing car accidents and freaking out small children and the elderly. The head and arms move when you make a turn.

Back when I was in high school and college, I used to skip school and go to NYC for the day. Sometimes I’d miss the last bus back home and I’d be stranded in NYC ( oh no!) until the early early morning bus. I would take full advantage and go nightclub hopping from Spa to the Limelight, etc…Sometimes I would seriously want to just sit down and take a nap and so I would- in a nightclub because I felt safer at a nightclub than the Port Authority. Anyway, one of these iconic nightclubs that I used to dance away, brush my teeth and nap at was The Limelight. Home slice got a makeover into a damn mall. Thankfully, It’s a mall more in the vain of Henri Bendel than Mall of America. Next time I’m back in NYC, I’m gonna have to relive my moments by going to every mini shop and retrace by steps… like that’s where I barfed, that’s where I passed out, that’s where I hid my fur coat so I could get into the club, that’s where I picked some guys pocket, etc. etc…. Funny how life changes.

So, I recently took a trip back to NYC for my other other work and decided to take photos of the stuff I love in NYC. I went to the Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA and was planning to take photos and video for you guys until some lady with the Bronx claws decided to stop me. Sorry, I tried, people. The first photo was all I could get. It was the weekend of the big blizzard which wasn’t actually that bad- but I didn’t have to drive , so maybe it was bad for everyone else? Duuno. Anyway, I always wanted to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. Even though I’ve been to NYC 5, 460,197 times, the opportunity never came up- until now. I had to share with you the ‘Hell, yes’ building. There you go. The bakery above is Lady M– only the most deliscioussssss Mille Crepe is served there. It’s like 100 crepes stacked between a bevy of cream and then ‘creme bruleed’ on top- soooooo yum. I actually dream about this. And here’s a cheezy myspace -style photo of me taken my me to show you how I actually dress. Now it’s your turn to make fun of my outfit!

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac has designed these customizable Lego sunglasses  to go with his Lego fashion show from a few seasons ago. Available in red, white and yellow, you can add Lego pieces and build your own ultimate Lego fashion accessory. These are great for men and women and of course, children with big heads. I bet you can build ‘side blinders’ if you really wanted , like those horses in Central Park. Speaking of, if they only could see the cars whizzing by them… if I was a horse , I would freak! I would gallop away into the dense Central Park Forest and hide until it got dark. Then I would rip those side blinders off and go window shopping on Fifth Ave. (insert Sarah Jessica Parker joke here). But seriously, I feel for those horses.
