If Jigsaw and Lladro were to have afternoon high tea together at The Savoy, I bet they would burp out something like this.  Seriously, this is pretty awesome just because of the shock factor. I’m not one for blood and gore, but GODDAMN! this is awesome. I mean, the ladies are so dainty, yet they are carrying their brains like a basket of fresh baked scones. Artist Jessica Harrison is behind these masterpieces. Be sure to check her site for more fupe artwork like furniture sprouting pubic hair. It’s like a Clarence Thomas /Anita Hill fest, but alas no Coke can. Anywho, this would be perfect in my dining room next to the Mark Ryden art.

I love and collect useless little figurines, especially ones of woodland creatures and gnomes. So, this is right up my alley! The Victorian outfits make them even more irresistible. I have to say my curio cabinet can be all kinds of creepy in the middle of the night. Even my cats sleep with me in the bed for fear! Check out The Runny Bunny on Etsy. If you always wanted a ceramic bunny in drag, then you’ve come to the right place. Speaking of bunnies and cute woodland creatures, check out this teddy bear horror short below (NSFW-  for Bear-on-Bear Violence):

Teacup lamps by Ceramics lighting designer Gregory Bonasera is just my cup tea! I collect tea sets and cups so this gives me a wonderful idea to add more tea sets without really taking up more space in my display cabinet. I’m not really good with electrical stuff, though, so, maybe I should just pass on that.  Anyway, check out Bonasera’s other works , including ceramic bones for your living room or doctor’s office. These teacups are all vintage tea cups, so no two are alike.

Sretsis‘s Fall 2010 collection was completely inspired by the porcelain figurine manufacturer, Lladro. Lladro usually is one of those dust collectors sitting on the mantle of your crazy Aunt Lovey’s sitting room. She makes everyone look at the Lladro figurines instead of Jerry Springer during afternoon tea. She may have more than 3 cats and still has plastic on her furniture. Actually, this could be me. Let’s change the subject. Anyway, I’m really digging the moosh muffin kitties in this spread! So fluufffeeyyyy! And I can’t hate on the hair bow and icy blue hair. I’m still more excited about the cats! Viva les Chats!

Mr. Marmar is hissed he didn’t get a callback.

Where's my callback, b*tch?

Lindsay Pemberton has found a new use for old teacups- She cuts and sands (hopefully!) them down to make porcelain bangles. I think that’s a cool idea, except for the fact that they are porcelain so you have to walk really slow and make no sudden movements for fear of a bloody wrist. This is not baby, cat or husband friendly jewelry. Basically, you wear this while sitting at home while watching TV- and not just any TV ,but something calm and boring,  like a marathon of ‘Masterpiece Theater’, because you don’t want to cut yourself while laughing , pointing or changing the channel. Actually, this belongs on a corpse to be on the safe side.
