I discovered works by Onch Movement at Los Angeles cosplay/art cafe, Royal T. Jewelry with a small slab of meat inspired by Lady Gaga’s meat dress at the MTV Music Awards are available as a bracelet or necklace. I personally wouldn’t wear this just because I think it’s sort of gross, but if you like the meat look, but don’t want to reek of rotten flesh, then this is for YOU! But if I had to wear it, I would wear it to a zoo, naturally. The crocodiles would shoot me  a “bitch, please” look. The California condors would be all like, “guuurrrl, did you NOT see ‘The Birds’?”. And the lions would be like, “Mmm, appetizer” (because I’m small and petite).

Anyway, I’d advise you not to wear this around a pitbull. Check out Onch Movement and their other stuff. I threw in a whipped cream and cherry ring for dessert.

So, I can’t wait for the new Tron movie to come out. Mostly because it a) It looks awesome b) the music is awesome (by Daft Punk) c) I love neon  and d) tight leather catsuits. One of my favorite art cafes, Royal T in LA (Culver City, to be exact) has a Tron pop-up shop that is worth seeing if you are a mega fan. They have jewelry, shoes, clothes, t-shirts, artwork and headphones, as well as other stuff Tron-related. You may have seen Royal T in my past posts. If you are visiting LA, it’s not that far off, and is worth stopping in regardless of what exhibit is on. Anyway, Tron comes out December 16th- I’m so getting ready to go in the grid!

The cutest kitty on earth ( Mr. Marmar just gave me the evil eye) turns 35 this year! In celebration of this milestone, LA based, Japanese cosplay cafè, Royal- T, transformed their space into the magical and kitchy land of Hello Kitty and called it Hello Kitty: Three Apples. Various artworks from famous contemporary artists covered the walls paying homage to the curiously, cute feline with the oversized red bow.  On display were relics from past Hello Kitty merchandise going as far back as 1974 and fashion pieces made with Hello Kitty. As you may know, I am a humungous Hello Kitty fan, so walking into the space gave me sensory overload like no other kind. Basically, I want ape sh*t. I even bought the oversized, vinyl red bow headband for myself (and Mr. Marmar). If you are in the area, RUN to see this…. this is a must see for any Hello Kitty fan!

Click here to check out the video of the Hello Kitty exhibit for people who can’t get to LA before they remove the show.
