If your doll’s shoes have gone missing in the past few months, look no further, the doll foot fetish lurking in  jewelry designer Tom Binns must have swiped them to make this immaculate piece of jewelry! Seriously, that’s a lot of barefoot Barbies. Good thing Barbie can’t get pregnant… or CAN she? Anywho, Moss Online offers this for sale but the price is available upon request. Usually, they say ‘price available upon request’ when they know that you’re gonna shoot them a ‘b*tch please ‘ side-eye  after finding out the price. I say just go to your neighborhood playground and start gathering lost doll shoes, then string it all together and throw it around your neck. Voila! And if it kid cries for her doll’s shoe, tell her that Cinderella story, but stop before the part where she gets the shoe back…. yeah, that’s the ticket.

Check out these adorable heels from Streetzie’s High Heel Bunny Slippers ! It’s like wearing a stuffed bunny on your feet. It’s like wearing bunny slippers, but only high heel. It’s like having a furry friend cuddle your toes. You get the idea… They come in 4 colors of powder blue, black , white and of course, PINK! I had to order a pair to go with my hello kitty ensembles (because you can never have enough pinky cuteness). They are actually very comfy and the heels aren’t hoochie high, so that’s good. And no bunnies were harmed in making these, although somewhere a 3 year old girl is weeping about her beheaded stuffed bunnies. So, if you see a crazy lady in a hello kitty skirt, unicorn necklace, bows in in her hair and pink bunny high heel slippers chances are it’s me. Be sure to say hi.

So,  I have to show you my gnome outfit I wore recently to my interviews with Elton John, Emily Blunt and James McAvoy for Gnomeo & Juliet. The movie was adorable! As a huge fan of gnomes ( Exhibit A and Exhibit B), I had to go all out and spread to everyone my freakish love for gnomes. Don’t laugh, but everyone has a weakness- mine happens to be miniature bearded men in pointy hats with an affinity for gardening.

I am wearing a skirt by Made With Love By Hannah, shoes by Irregular Choice, shirt from the depths of my closet, and cardigan by Anthropologie. Lilly pad/ladybug hair clip from Patricia Field‘s circa when I still had a pager and Hair Rosettes by ‘Tressa the Hairdressa’ from PuppycatMeow.

By the way, I wish they made this in my size! By DollFace girls.

Beijing designer Xiao Li designed this capsule collection inspired by tin robots! Some of may know that I love love love robots and those vintage tin robots are the favorites. I have this tin robot that I attach to my handbag sometimes- it’s even named after me! Hahhaha. I cant’ hate on anything robot related, so I’ll go ahead and give this an A+++++. Even though the fourth photo looks like a busted diaphragm around her neck, I have to appreciate the craftsmanship. This collection reminds of when I would wear an empty hamper when I was kid. Boxy and smelling like sweaty socks. Those shoes are pretty rad if you’re into Bollywood and it’s totally a DIY- lumber jack boots, marbles (or gumballs, if you don’t mind ants), glue gun and you’re good to go.

PS- I did some research and could not find Xiao Li’s official website, but I did find this precious fluffball! Unless, she’s a fluffy panda bear with mad sewing skillz.

The Heel Condom is probably the most simple way to class up a pair of heels. That is if your definition of classy is a leopard leotard with matching fingerless opera length gloves. No! Some of the designs are actually ok. Puerto Rican designer  Sandrysabel Ortiz (picture her with a margarita in hand  and  wearing a marabou robe from the latest Forplay catalog) designed these clever contraptions to dress up any boring pair of heels. They make even the cheapest heels, well… even cheaper. Kidding! Go to the site, ignore the  The Nanny-inspired music on the site, and get yourself a pair!

If you have a pair of old ‘Ho’ shoes laying around and it doesn’t reek too bad of feet and cheap perfume, then this might be a brilliant DIY project! Or you can let  Giddy Spinster do the honors. Nothing says elegant and nature lover like a stiletto planter. Grow your own personal cactus plant in a defunct stiletto to remind you of your heydays an untouchable female….

So, really, this sounds like a cool idea only if the cactus plants were rosemary because I would perch that sh*t right on the kitchen counter. Call me demure.

Check out the other works of Giddy Spinster including a mascara wand art piece, blow dryer and bookends. Just as long as you don’t mind the smell of feet, I suppose.

Check out Alberto Guardiani‘s lipstick heel for  $410! It’s badass and you know you want it… I know I want it, but only if the the lipstick was a blade! Like here:

That’s me modeling in Vivienne Westwood shoes and a lipstick knife I picked up at some gun convention. Seriously, I don’t know why I was at a gun convention because I don’t even own a gun. Funny how I ended in random places during my youth! Anyway, that lipstick knife used to go with me everywhere in my pocketbook to ward off any loonies or criminal types. I somehow wish it would have warded off bad boyfriends, but it seemed to attract them more than anything! Anywho, I still have it, but choose mace over my weapon of choice these days.

Going back to those heels, I do like how the lipstick looks bloody… I shall save my pennies for it!

Shoe designer Benoit Méléard has worked with Alexander McQueen, Jeremy Scott and Helmut Lang in the past. Next month, he will be releasing a line shoes fit for that any drag queen or working geisha. No. Only two of his shoes from the collection look like that. The rest are pretty much normal, except for a strangely placed strap or two- which reminds me of the time wear I had to use medical tape found in my car’s first aid kit to save a broken sole. It was white tape, so it looked so odd on one pair of shoe, so I had to put it on the other shoe to make it look uniform. Mending things the ghetto way is almost second nature to me. Take for example the time the handle of my purse broke and I used a paperclip to refasten it- (it broke again moments later). Just call me the MacGruber of Fashion.

Anywho, those wood circle heels could totally double as chopping boards…Choppin’ brocc-o-li!

Designer Kobi Levi came up with these outrageous shoes guaranteed to cause mass WTF looks on the street. So, if you’re wearing one of these pairs of shoes on the street and you hear a loud crash, pat yourself on the back for causing an accident. Anyway, I have to say these are super creative, especially the decapitated blow-up doll shoes in the second photo. I think I would actually wear the bubble gum heels. The dog shoes are out of the question just out of respect for Mr. Marmar and his posse. And the double boot must look freaky on. Reminds me of the cover of that Philip Starck book with the head on backwards on his own body. Freaky!

Here is an old suit I found at a thrift store years ago. It’s yellow with white teeny tiny polka-dots and it’s a light cotton. Great summer suit. I thought the original buttons were lame, so I glued on candy cabochons to the buttons! They totally livened up the suit! The popsicle pins were originally cupcake toppers ( I ate the cupcakes) that I took and put a pin the back to make a brooch. Since finding shoes to match a yellow suit is a little tough, I took a pair of cheap heels and spray painted them with Simply Spray fabric spray in yellow and then I added ice cream cone cabochons to the bow. Voila! I’m ready for the Willy Wonka tour!

*By the way, sorry for the poor quality photos- I was on the lookout for bedbugs at my hotel in NYC. Seriously!

Above is a vintage Moschino Cheap & Chic dress that is half mannequin and half suit. I wore that for a series of interviews for ‘Machete’. The little mouse pin (moosh!) is actually nibbling on a Chanel symbol. It’s one of my prized possessions.

Below is my outfit for my interviews for Jackass 3D. I decided to take along my Kidrobot buddy, Munny by Tarina Tarantiono. Isn’t he cute!?!  *Excuse my messy messy bed.

Below is an extraordinary bathtub I saw in Soho in NYC. It was in a showroom and is made of little tiny sparkling gold mosaics! The water flows from the top of the heel. That is friggin’ Epic!!! I would not only take a bath in that, but I would move into that tub! I would be the old lady that lived in a shoe and was actually clean!

Anyway, I thought I’d share these random tidbits with you- It’s good to take a break from all the fashion week stuff! Whew!
