So here are some cool and weird stuff that I’ve been meaning to post about separately but decided to throw all the strange and unusual into one post. I know, it’s like one huge bizarre post but trust me it’s better this way- get the crazziness out of the way!

-Anywho, I think the most peculiar one is the Oven Lounge- whoever made that has a bounty on his head from Betty Crocker. Sh*t’s gonna get real when she shows up with an electric mixer, rubber gloves and a a tub of lard at his front door. I don’t even know where I’m going with that one so let’s get on the next one.

-Rubber Duckies are cool especially ones with tea leaves up their whoo-has. Ha ha.

-The Inner Beauty shirt is definitely a cannibal’s dream menu. Just add Chianti and fava beans. Yeah, so I necessarily wouldn’t wear that.

-Plug and Socket ring is a nice alternative to those cheezey broken heart necklaces. Except it seems the plug has the upper hand in most violent situations.I’ll take the plug.

-Check out the cool street art on Mercer St. in NYC – although it’s probably hidden under the snow and ice right now.

-Ride the skeleton bike… perfect for causing car accidents and freaking out small children and the elderly. The head and arms move when you make a turn.

Voila!

Here are some stuff I found while cruising the vast void of the internet. Seriously, the more I dig, the more I can’t stop! I need an intervention and Mr. Marmar’s not gonna do it!
-So the first photo is a watermelon cooler/carrier from Japan. I can’t really say much more except that those Japanese never overlook a damn thing! If it were me, I’d ditch the watermelon and put my cat or kid in it on a really hot day. I think they’d appreciate that.
-A lightbulb idea came to Swedish designer Eric Therner (I’ll show my way out)… A lightbulb in the shape of a diamond! Who thought you need a huge chandelier to be all fancy-like when you can just do it with a single bulb? I love when everyday objects are fiddled with for the cooler.
Pinky Diablo ‘s skull spoons are probably just for looking at. But still damn cool! I can see my son persuading me to give him his medicine in that spoon- tricky little boy!
-These Lego Headphones were made by someone who’s crazy about Legos. If you have the time, you too can make them. Follow the link to the instructions, but you’re gonna have to swipe some of your kids’ legos. Good luck with that. I like that you can add blocks whenever and wherever you want. They need to make lego bows.
Voila! Hope that starts your week off right!

Those gowns are beyond gorgeous. If I had that gown, I would wear it everyday. Like food shopping, to the post office, the dentist, you name it! It resembles bones and is bone color, which I find awesome. Givenchy only had 12 looks in this collection, but they are all beautiful. I’m totally for quality , not quantity.

Bones also resonated in the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2010 Haute Couture show- Check out Dita von Teese with a corset by Mr. Pearl with accurate bone detailing… so chilling, it’s cool! I’ll take two, JPG!

Here are a few Hello Kitty stuff that maybe your dream or your nightmare depending on who you are. Hello Kitty Wine and Hello Kitty Anatomy. Let’s start with the Skeletal Hello Kitty: I was wondering why Hello Kitty has no mouth but has teeth. Take a minute to ponder this. I have already put that as my screensaver, creeping out my 4 year old. The Hello Kitty Wine is something I can appreciate but can’t really enjoy because I don’t drink. I would be perfectly happy if it was filled with a Shirley Temple cocktail (because I’m hardcore like that). But, it is pretty cute, nonetheless. Having said that Mimi has probably ordered 50 of each kind right now. You’ll know if she’s got the Hello Kitty hangover – it’s a glittery haze of pink bows and hearts. Actually, I may try it!
