The cherry on top (couldn’t resist) of this collection was the girly silhouette of short foufy skirts. That is my favorite- looks like a doll! Although the patterns were a little busy, I approve of this collection because the silhouette saved this collection’s ass. It’s like Pippi Longstocking collided with a 1950’s Bavarian housewife. Hearts all around! Wunderkind is gonna be on my radar blip from now on… I promise.

Japanese Designer Tsumori Chisato is my new favorite designer. It seems like I have one every few weeks… Anyway, Chisato’s playful prints and bright colors are like bait to me, so I guess she has reeled me in! My favorite look is the long striped sailor dress- it’s a trompe l’oiel, so you know how I feel about that. The pajama-inspired  red polka-dot pant suit is pretty awesome, too. The drawings on the fourth and fifth photo dresses look like a mythical creature Napoleon Dynamite might have sketched during geography class. Sweet! Yay for Tsumori!!

Moschino Spring 2011, of course! I’m kinda liking this collection- the  polka dots, the stripes, the BOWS! The cowboy hat has got to go , though. Seriously, all I can think about is Destiny’s Child. Cheeeeeeze. Anyhow, I can see myself wearing all these outfits. My fave is the last outfit in red and purple polka dots. I think the bows on the collar make the look so dandy. So, the real question is: Would “The Nanny” still wear Moschino?  I have a feeling she would wear this collection, at least. I’m so happy that the Moschino is revived again- it was going through an ‘unfortunate department store’ phase for a while there. Glad to have the high fashion, whimsical look back at Moschino.
